YULE, WINTER SOLSTICE

Winter Solstice, YULE. There is something intense, deep and magical about these days. There is something ancient, something that was here before all of us. The battle of light and darkness, the holly against the oak... There are not battles, there are cycles. They don't confront each other, they complement each other, they admire each other, they seek each other out and play an infinite game that is lost in the memory of times. The darkness begins to give way to light, but honestly I still want to stay here. The calm of the days between Samhain and Yule is inspiring, I find what I need, what I always looked for, ideas pile up in my head and my notebook is full of those ideas that will come to life in the following months. Some trees already have new buds, others are in blossom, others are still losing their leaves, I miss a cold winter, really cold, rainy and grey days, dense fogs, frost at dawn...everything is changing...but Yule is here and I will light a fire to celebrate the Solstice. That won't change never. Blessed Yule, happy Winter Solstice!!!!
