SWEET NECTAR

Butterfly bush. This summer I have connected with this beautiful and sweet plant spirit. Buddleja davidii, commonly called Butterfly Bush, Orange-eyed Butterfly Bush or Summer Lilac.

His roots are in China, but we can come across her in wild lands, railroad tracks, roadsides.... Her beautiful lilac flowers emerge in clusters in summer and are an incredible source of pollen for bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Their beautiful appearance and sweet scent is irresistible. Traditionally, preparations are made to alleviate eye ailments, liver and skin problems. She is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, reduces spasms and protects the liver. The most curious thing is that she belongs to the family of the Foxglove, so she possibly shares with it beneficial properties for the heart. I couldn't resist and have been doing some herbal mysteries with Summer Lilac. I can't wait to see the result...I just have to wait a little longer. I will enjoy her like a wee bee
